You know those tasks you have to do on a regular basis that you can feel slowly draining your soul every time you do them?
Or maybe they ignite a level of rage you didn’t know you could have for something so mundane?

While I can’t promise to make them go away altogether (although this has been known to happen!), I can definitely make them quicker, easier and less soul-destroying.
We'll fix those sources of everyday friction together, in just 15 minutes.

School admin. PE days, inset days, non-uniform days, sports day, raffles, bring a book, show and tell. Can’t there just be boring old ‘school days” anymore?!
Birthdays. So many cards and gifts to organise - it's a permanent feature on your to-do list now. And let’s not get started on your brother-in-law who’s a nightmare to buy for.
The toys. Your child won’t let any go, your family are overly generous with plastic tat gifts, and your front room looks more like a toy shop than a place to relax.
The morning routine. No matter what you’ve tried, the mornings always end up in chaos and everyone is late yet again.
If it's annoying you or taking up too much mental space, it belongs on the list.

Hi, I'm Lesley!
In my day job, I’m an Efficiency Expert (yes, really). For 15 years, my job has literally been to find quicker and easier ways to do things.
When sleep deprivation hit hard as a first time mum, I put that experience to good use in my personal life - purely as a survival tactic.
I ruthlessly prioritised, I let things go, I found quicker ways of doing things. I made sure I could catch up on sleep.
The more points of friction I eliminated, the less stressed out I felt, and the more energy I had.
I know how hard it can be to see a different ways of doing things when you're in the thick of it, which is why I created Fixed in 15.
You can take advantage of my years of experience in the time it'll take you to have a quick cuppa - because I know you have no time!

How Fixed in 15 Works
1. You decide enough is enough and you'd like my help making something you hate doing feel less of a burden.
No prep required, just click the button below to get booked in.
2. Pick a slot from my calendar that suits you and pay for your session via the link.
You'll get an email confirmation including my telephone number so you will recognise it when I call you.
3. On the day, I’ll call you via good old fashioned phone call. There are apps for this (message me if you'd prefer that), but phone is the default to keep it simple.
You tell me what issue you would like us to work through.
We’ll chat about how it currently goes, what else you've tried and I'll make suggestions.
By the end of the 15 minutes, you will have a plan for getting that thing done more quickly, easily and/or with less brain power.
As easy as that.
4. If you put down the phone and think "oh damn I wish I'd mentioned x" - you can still get in touch. I'm a reasonable human and that happens to me all the time too!
Imagine a world where those things that you HAVE to do but HATE to do are less of a burden.
FAQs
I hear you! A "Pick My Brains" session might work better for you as that gives us half a day to chat back and forth and we can cover as many things as you would like during that time. I don't have a page for it yet but get in touch and we can chat about whether it's right for you. Email hello@alifelesscomplicated.com or use this form.
I will only use it to call you for the purposes of this session. We could use an app (like Voxer) that would make the call anonymous but I know that can feel like yet another thing to get your head round so I've kept it simple with a normal voice call. If you'd like to use a different way of speaking that's fine, just let me know.
I will also be sharing my number with you and trust/hope you're not a weirdo who's going to start stalking me or something...
