Get It Done Week

1 week of 1-on-1 support to help you tackle the thing you've been putting off for months (or even years) and get it out of your head.

BOOKING IS OPEN! The first round is Wednesday 19th August to Tuesday 25th August.

We’ve all got them - things we keep meaning to do, but that never actually get done. Sorting the toys out, getting your photos printed, the long list of forms and renewals that need doing.

All the time it sits there, undone, it’s a reminder of something you need to do.

It pops into your mind when you're trying to relax, reminding you that you should be doing it instead:

  • Every time you open the wardrobe and remember you still haven't sorted through the mountain of clothes that no longer fit.

  • Every time another letter lands on top of the paperwork you keep meaning to organise.

  • Every time you open your phone and see the 18 tabs, file of screenshots and notes you've saved for "when I get round to it."

Every time you notice these things, you feel that little pang of guilt that it's still hanging over you.

You don’t need another week of good intentions, you need to get it over the line and out of your head.

Maybe it feels too overwhelming to know where to start.

Maybe there’s always something more urgent to do first.

Maybe it requires a decision you've been avoiding.

Or maybe it's simply one of those jobs that feels so dull, so fiddly or so mentally draining that you simply can’t face it.

Whatever's been getting in the way, we'll work through it together so that, by the end of the week, it's crossed off your list and no longer taking up valuable headspace.

A Get It Done Week does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s 1 week, dedicated to getting the thing off your list and out of your head - with my help.

Book onto a Get It Done Week and you will:

  • Finally finish the thing that's been hanging over you.

  • Free up valuable headspace by crossing something off that's been weighing you down.

  • Feel lighter, calmer and more in control with one less thing constantly popping into your mind.

Hi, I'm Lesley!

I’m an Efficiency Expert, mum of 2 sleep thieves, Mental Load Mentor and Lifestyle Manager.

For 15 years, my day job has literally been to find quicker and easier ways to do things, and I’ve become pretty good at it.

When sleep deprivation hit as a new mum, there was no way I could get everything done on such little sleep. So I found another way.

I ruthlessly prioritised, I let things go, I found quicker ways of doing things. I made sure I could catch up on sleep.

My eldest is now 4 years old and I use the same tactics to juggle daily life, life events and extra-juggly times of the year, and help others do the same.

It's amazing what a difference an outside perspective can make.

Perfect for things like...

Here are some examples but it will work for anything that is taking up headspace. If in doubt, get in touch and I'll let you know.

  • Decluttering a room

  • Having a clothes sort-out

  • Creating photo albums from all the pictures in your phone

  • Tackling your 5000 unread emails

  • Organising the big pile of paperwork in the corner

  • Selling that pile of Vinted clothes

  • Sorting the ever-growing pile of toys

  • Comparing insurance or utility rates

  • Creating a household budget

How it works:

1. We get unstuck

We'll figure out why this hasn't happened yet. Together, we'll unpick what's been getting in your way, whether that's not knowing where to start, feeling overwhelmed, avoiding a tricky decision or simply never having the time or headspace.

2. We make a plan

We'll break it down into manageable chunks, create a realistic plan around your week and your energy, and work out the next manageable step.

3. You get it done (with me in the wings)

You'll crack on with the new, achievable plan, knowing you don't have to figure it all out on your own. I'll be there whenever you need a sounding board, a bit of motivation, help getting unstuck or you're ready for the next step.

If life throws a curveball, we'll simply adjust the plan and keep moving forwards.

What people say:

Why it works:

  • There's a deadline - this is the week you're committing do doing it

  • You don't have to figure it out alone - knowing you have someone to bounce ideas off, keep you moving and help you get unstuck is the thing my clients say they value most

  • We make it manageable - Together we'll create a realistic plan that fits around real life, and the time and energy you actually have available

How I Do Things

Relaxed and flexible

Message me whenever it suits you. Long rambles, tiny voice notes, scattered thoughts…whatever works for you.

We can chat back-and-forth quickly, or with pauses. Both work brilliantly. And in fact those gaps to reflect are often where the magic happens.

No new tools or logins

We’ll use WhatsApp messages and voice notes to chat, because you probably already have it (if you don’t we can use an alternative messaging app) and you don’t have to remember any login details, so that’s one less thing to worry about.

WhatsApp allows us to chat whilst going about our normal lives - you don’t have to be sitting at a computer at a certain time and it definitely doesn’t matter if you’re still in your pjs.

Availability

You can message me anytime during the support window and I will reply from 08.30 to 20.30 (GMT) on support days.

We can chat back-and-forth quickly, or with pauses (whether a few minutes or a few days). Both work brilliantly.

The gap allows you time to continue with the task in your own time, knowing I'll be on hand for any .

Results, fast

I know you’re busy. That’s why you’re here! Our chats won’t be filled with polite chit-chat; we will get straight to the point. I will guide you towards quick wins that will make your week feel instantly lighter.

Who this service is for

The Get It Done Week is for you if:

  • You have something hanging over you that you just can't seem to get started on.

  • It's something that can realistically be completed, or significantly moved forward, over the course of the week.

  • The task feels too big, too complicated or too overwhelming to tackle on your own.

  • You have some time available during the support week to work on it.

  • You're happy to do the doing, you just need someone to help you get it over the line.

FAQs

How much time will it take?

An annoying answer...it depends! It depends what you would like to get done BUT we will break it down to fit inside whatever time and energy you have available.

If in doubt, get in touch (use the chat box or send me an email) and I'll help you work out if this is the right timing for you.

How will we speak?

I recommend WhatsApp but I'm happy to use most other messaging apps if you have a preference.

WhatsApp works well because you probably already have it on your phone and know how to use it, and it's free!

You can send me written messages or leave voice notes - or a combination. I will always check which you would prefer from me too.

I won’t be able to speak every day

That’s fine. I offer 4 support days to suit everyone's schedules - if you only want to talk on 1 or 2 days that's fine. And remember there are no live calls and no set times, so it can even be a 2-minute message exchange that gives you what you need one day.

Is a week long enough?

Yes, it usually is although if you have a really big project like a kitchen renovation then get in touch and we can discuss the best ways I can help.

(You can use the chat box or send me an email).

There are so many things I want to get done - how do I choose?

I suggest picking one meaty thing to get done during this week - if you try and do too much you will likely end up not getting any of them over the line.

Let me know what's on your list and I can help you work out a good starting place. You can use the chat box or send me an email.

My Promise

It's really important to me that you find my products and services helpful. So, if you don't feel that you got your money's worth out of this purchase, just let me know within 30 days and I will be happy to refund you. (This hasn't happened yet).
