I don't know about you but there used to be piles of clean washing all over our house. On airers, in the laundry basket, in an overflow bag because the basket was full...
If you're in the same boat, how about doing this instead? 👇
This might sound lazy, or make your gasp in horror, but hear me out…
What if you simply stopped folding everything?
Think about it, does it REALLY matter?
A neatly folded drawer is deeply satisfying. But so is catching up on Celebrity Traitors with a cup of tea. And if push comes to shove I know which one I’m choosing.
7 things you can stop folding…
1. Kids clothes - they’ll rummage through them and mess them up anyway
2. Baby clothes - babygrows don’t really crease, plus they’ll need another new outfit in 5 mins!
3. Tea towels - I promise you no-one cares about the state of your tea towel drawer
4. Sheets - Will a creased sheet make any difference to your sleep? And who knows how to fold a fitted sheet anyway?!
5. Jumpers - those chunky knits are definitley not going to crease
6. Underwear and socks - just checking, we’re not folding these…right?
7. Towels - got a storage box you could chuck them in so they’re contained instead?
How do you feel about stopping folding some things? Are you game or does it make you shudder? I'd love to know!
